Canucks Visit Victoria Public for the MS Read-A-Thon
Since 1979 the Niagara Falls Jr B Canucks hockey team have been a charter member of the Golden Horseshoe “B” League. For a short time in the early 1990’s they were known as the Devils. The successful Canucks have an impressive record of 18 league championships, 11 playoffs and two Ontario Sutherland Cup Championships. Off the ice the Canucks have been great community ambassadors appearing and participating at various functions and events throughout the years. Recently at one of their home games the club held a Teddy Bear Toss and a food drive for Project Share. On February 9th a group of players and their team doctor visited Victoria Public School where they read to the students at their annual MS Read -A -Thon.
