Native Arts Canada Receives Grant

Neto Hatinakwe Onkwehowe Native Arts Canada recently announced in a formal presentation the receipt of local and provincial grants, and it all took place during the launch of the new community arts resource room at 5017 Victoria Avenue. The Mayor and MP Kim Craitor were both on hand for the announcement and Neto Hatinakwe Onkwehowe Native Arts will use these funds for the purpose of an Aboriginal Arts and Culture Educational Program. This project will include the creation of an educational kit (Edu-kit), helping to increase and develop an understanding of contemporary and traditional Aboriginal art and culture. Neto Hatinakwe Onkwehowe Native Arts Canada is a charitable not-for-profit arts services organization, which has a mandate to provide arts services to both Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal community members in the Niagara Region.
